Eye Exam

Vision is an important component of a well being. Annual eye exam is recommended to evaluate vision and ocular health. During eye exam the doctor evaluates the vision, oculomotor function  of the eyes and determines accurate eye glasses prescription. Peripheral vision and eye pressure check is a part of every exam and serve as a glaucoma screening test. Dilation alerts the doctor to common eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, macula degeneration, retinal detachment as well as general health conditions like diabetes, hypertension and elevated cholesterol. 
 
At the conclusion of the eye exam the patient gets the summary of their exam findings, recommendation about the type of eyewear that will work best and the doctor answers all questions. A copy of the eyeglass prescription is given for the patient records.
